Plan, drive, and execute testing activities in product development projects.

Define test methodology and create necessary tools and test plans for firmware testing and hardware design verification.

Implement and drive Software Testing Life Cycle in an Agile development methodology, ensuring product safety and quality.

Collaborate closely with development and project teams to meet timelines and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Job description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Plan, drive, and execute testing activities in a Product development project.

o Defining test methodology for ensuring the quality of embedded Firmware at the System level.

o Creating/defining the necessary tools and test plans for conducting firmware testing and hardware design verification.

o Develop new processes and tools to speed the testing process (e.g., auto testing) to improve test coverage and reduce testing cycle time

o Implement and drive Software Testing Life Cycle in an Agile development methodology

o Understand product features in detail, develop test cases, and perform test execution to challenge the design

o Perform traceability of test cases to requirements and ensure test completeness

o Drive and Perform Integration, Software, System, Functional, and Regression testing through Manual and Automation testing

o Ensure the safety and quality of the product

o, Work Closely with the development team and Project team to meet the project timelines. o Identifies opportunities for improvements offers new ideas and takes initiative to improve the process.

o Guide team on product requirements, test optimization, and early identification of defects.

o Demonstrate the ability to learn fast and understand new technologies.

o Background in the medical industry with working knowledge of IEC standards, and knowledge in testing medical devices.

o Comfortable in interpreting design and identifying test scenarios

o Sound knowledge of peripheral drivers like I2C/ SPI/ UART/ USB/ GPIOs/ BLE etc.

o Deep knowledge and experience in system engineering, system integration, developing testing instruments, test design and automation, verification strategy, and design controls.
