Job Description for Automation Testing Engineer

Role and Responsibilities

The Automation Testing Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Automation testing using WebDriverIO (preferably based on C#)
  • API Automation/Manual Testing using POSTMAN
  • Manual Smoke/Regression Testing
  • Working with GIT Hub to manage code repositories
  • Sprint testing and validation using the Agile process
  • Using a Bug Tracking tool like Jira to track and manage bugs and issues
  • Working with SQL queries and database management
  • Using Typescript or NodeJS for UI E1Es (preferably Typescript)
  • Performance testing tools like JMeter (preferred)
Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience in Automation testing using WebDriverIO, preferably based on C#
  • Experience in API Automation/Manual testing using POSTMAN
  • Experience in Manual Smoke/Regression testing
  • Working experience with GIT Hub to manage code repositories
  • Experience in Sprint testing and validation using the Agile process
