Location: Home Based Role


The Role

The bids and proposal manager will play a key role in the co-ordination and production of formal responses to all RFQ's, ITT's and Tenders.


Key Responsibilities include:


  • The introduction and implementation of robust procedures, governance and costing models on all bids and proposals
  • Co-ordinate, review and edit bids and proposals input from a variety of stakeholders including sales, finance, manufacturing, engineering, and project management.
  • To support the sales function by assisting in the improvement of overall turnover, profitability and customer satisfaction levels on every bid and proposal submitted.


The Candidate

An experienced Bids and Proposal Manager with a successful track record of leading and managing a tendering function within a manufacturing business servicing the Oil & Gas sector is imperative. In addition, you MUST be able to demonstrate the following:


  • Have the experience and credibility to coach commercial teams in persuasive writing on all bids and proposal best practise.
  • Outstanding communication and networking skills, with ability to influence a variety of key internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Strong prioritisation skills with a "hands-on "approach, who will take total ownership of the end-to-end bid and proposal process.
