About The Role

We're looking for a Big Data Engineer with Scala & Spark who'll be working on an external fintech project. Must-haves In The Technology Stack

• At least 3 years of experience with Scala & Spark.
• Knowledge of Hadoop stack: YARN, MR, Sqoop, Hive; Kafka; Impala
• Hands-on development experience with Jenkins or Bamboo, JIRA, Bitbucket and Git/Stash.
• English at an advanced level as you'll be working in an international team.

• Experience of implementing data security capabilities such as encryption and anonymization.
• Excellent communication skills and experience of distributed global teams.
• Data driven thinking capabilities.
• Experience in using Agile methods.
• Solid grounding in Financial Service.
  
  

Salary

• 15 000 to 19 000 PLN net/month on B2B (or the equivalent currency in USD or EUR)
  
  

The compensation will depend on your experience and skill set, with opportunities for growth as you develop. You can expect regular, open discussions to ensure transparency. For candidates in Poland, an employment contract option is also available.
