Meet the team:

The Training Manager, Leadership Programs – North America will support the deployment and maintenance of learning solutions to support customer-facing leadership teams across North America.  This position will be part of the Global Sales Training Department, under Global Marketing.  They will ensure successful content delivery, application of selling coaching norms and global adoption of Dexcom leadership competencies.  This manager will build and maintain trust and credibility within the North America sales leadership team and with matrixed stakeholders and their teams.    The ideal candidate should be proficient in using various learning management systems, virtual classroom platforms, and digital engagement tools to drive effective training.  It is expected for this manager to possess strong interpersonal communication, leadership skills, project management, time management, & problem-solving skills to ensure success in the role. Success in this role will be defined by the candidate with strong collaboration, breadth of leadership experience and effectively managing business complexity.

Where you come in:

  • You support the design of complete learning experiences by preparing meaningful, relevant training programs that include measurement frameworks and are connected to KPI for measurable outcomes/ROI. 
  • You are primary facilitator for all new hire onboarding programs for sales leaders in US & Canada.
  • You coordinate with sales training leadership and sales operations teams to determine specific metrics and measurements to assess the success of training activities that will ensure content supports the training and corporate strategies
  • You deliver training programs in an effective manner, while supporting on-going workflow management for active design and development projects
  • You proactively communicate regarding the training program plans, timelines & incorporate new and relevant training approaches and industry best practices to create and maintain a best-in-class training program
  • You consult with matrix stakeholders, across the commercial team to triage and assess functional training projects, while incorporating adult learning principles and innovative facilitation methods & technology that drive continuous improvement
  • Utilize Dexcom CONNECT selling model and leadership competencies with global training teams to design coaching workshops and custom-coaching tools that reinforce key strategic leadership imperatives

What makes you successful:

  • You bring >5 years life sciences training and/or coaching experience with excellent verbal & written communications skills, plus facilitation experience with audiences of all sizes
  • You possess excellent verbal & written communication skills and are highly adaptable (bi-lingual skills is a plus – French Canadian)
  • You thrive under complex and matrixed working environments which makes you confident managing expectations from global partners while balancing timely delivery of work projects and meeting deadlines
  • You bring working knowledge of talent development, people management, KPI, analytics and partner with key sales operations stakeholders to ensure optimal leadership effectiveness

• Proven ability to drive change management initiatives and adapt training strategies in dynamic environments.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to align learning programs with long-term business objectives.
• Proficient in utilizing technology and digital tools to enhance learning experiences.

  • 50 to 75%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
