Senior Game Designer

With over 300 employees, we cover games of nearly any genre in the free-to-play (F2P) model on iOS and Android, and also on the Nintendo Switch.

We have experts across publishing, user interface/experience (UI/UX), game design, monetization, user acquisition (UA), creative, business intelligence (BI), quality assurance (QA), LiveOps, art and game development spread across the world and are continually looking to strengthen our team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead in creating, developing, and iterating game concepts and mechanics
• Design, implement, and balance complex gameplay features independently
• Design, implement, and balance complex game economies, considering long-term player progression and engagement
• Drive brainstorming sessions, fostering creativity, and innovative problem-solving
• Research, understand, and apply cutting-edge industry trends to game design
• Test, iterate, and optimize game designs based on player feedback and data
• Document and communicate design decisions and game mechanics clearly for team and stakeholders
• Analyze player data to inform strategic design decisions
• Mentor and lead junior and mid-level game designers, fostering growth and learning
• Liaise with cross-functional teams (such as art, programming, marketing) to ensure coherence in game design and alignment with overall business objectives
• Analyze and interpret A/B testing data, and use this to drive decision-making and game design adjustments
• Develop an advanced understanding of game metrics, using this knowledge to drive design and gameplay changes
• Oversee and advise on UI/UX design strategies for optimal player experience
• Strategize and implement advanced game monetization techniques

Requirements:

• Minimum five years in the field of game design or related experience
• Degree in game design or a related field is preferred
• Proven track record of delivering work that consistently meets and often exceeds expectations, setting a high standard for others in the team
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and develop team members
• Expert knowledge of UI/UX principles, game metrics, and the game development process
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets for comprehensive data analysis and presentation
• Good command of English (spoken and written)

Additional:

• Working knowledge of game engines (Unity) and scripting (C#) is a plus
• Demonstrates understanding of SQL for data querying and analysis is a plus
