The Senior Director of Clinical Talent Strategy is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and managing the full recruitment lifecycle. This role ensures the alignment of strategies with organizational goals, optimizes processes, and leads a team dedicated to meeting the organization’s needs. The Senior Director will collaborate with executive leadership, implement innovative recruiting solutions, and drive recruitment metrics to ensure quality hires, positive candidate experience, and support for the organization’s mission.

Paid Time Off: Envision Healthcare offers paid time off, 9 observed holidays and paid family leave. You accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period and depending on your position and can earn a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days per calendar year.
Responsibilities
- Directs employees by supporting, coaching, training, assisting with time management and performing evaluations; should conduct regular meetings with all direct reports.
- Develops and implements strategic recruitment to meet clinical staffing needs and organizational goals.
- Collaborates with senior leaders to align recruitment strategies with business priorities and clinical service lines.
- Oversees key recruitment metrics, budget, and productivity goals to optimize recruitment effectiveness.
- Continuously evaluates and improves recruitment processes with a focus on efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Develops and enforces standardized workflows to enhance recruitment operations.
- Collaborates with the technology team to optimize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and needed tools.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with service line leaders and key business leaders.
- Fosters partnership with clinical hiring managers and service line leaders to forecast staffing needs and establish realistic hiring timelines.
- Manages relationships with external recruitment vendors.
- Presents data-driven analytics to leadership, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensures recruitment practices are compliant with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Stays informed of healthcare industry recruiting trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop talent.
- Expertise in recruiting strategies, sourcing methods, and workforce planning.
- Advanced proficiency in ATS, CRM systems, and healthcare-specific recruiting software.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and focus on continuous improvement.
- Skilled in leveraging data analytics (SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) for actionable insights and performance reporting.
- Experienced in analyzing complex datasets to inform strategic decision-making.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies for driving operational efficiency.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing workflows to enhance productivity and long-term improvements.
Education/Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
- 10+ years of experience in recruiting, with at least 5 years in a healthcare or clinical recruiting environment required.
- Minimum of 5 years in a management or leadership role overseeing recruitment teams required.
- Proven track record of meeting recruitment targets and managing large-scale recruiting projects.
