We are looking for a Regional Category Manager (m/f/d) IT& Professional Services Nordics for our General Procurement Department. This role can be filled in Norway.


As a Regional Category Manager specializing in IT and Professional Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing procurement strategies that drive value and innovation. Your expertise will be crucial in managing and optimizing our procurement processes for these critical categories across the Nordics.


Your Tasks


  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for the assigned categories
  • Conducting extensive research on market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as finance, legal, and operations to ensure procurement activities align with overall business objectives
  • Monitoring and analyzing supplier performance metrics such as quality, delivery, and cost to ensure ongoing supplier compliance and contract adherence
  • Guide and motivate an international team of Lead buyers for several sub categories
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating potential supply chain risks through effective risk management policies and protocols


Your Profile


  • Successfully completed business studies or comparable training with at least 5 years of professional experience
  • Profound knowledge of the assigned categories
  • Engage with business and understanding of the business needs
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate across hierarchy levels and functions cross-country
  • Understanding of the dynamics of working in an international environment
