A person on this position will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and supporting senior accountants in preparing reports. S/he will also ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to learn and grow in the accounting field. Moreover, this role is an opportunity to bring career on an international level with possibility to perform tasks for NATEK’s Slovak, Czech and Bulgarian entities in the near future.
Your Responsibilities
Record and verify daily financial transactions in company’s accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies (accounts payable and accounts receivable)
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records (bank statements and general ledger accounts)
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Assist in preparing and submitting tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Prepare supporting documentation for audits and ensure proper filing of financial records
Process payroll and employee reimbursements
Monitor and track expenses and revenues to ensure accurate financial reporting
Assist senior accountants with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Perform administrative tasks related to financial record-keeping, such as filing and organizing financial documents
Our Requirements
Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 2 years of working experience in similar position
Fluency in Polish and English, other language is a plus (Slovak, Bulgarian)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations
Experience in using accounting software (e.g. Comarch ERP XL, ABRA, other)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong MS Office skills (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting field
