Launch Finance is looking for a Senior Controller Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial management, preferably within the startup and technology sectors. As a Senior Controller Consultant, you will provide strategic financial guidance and oversee the accounting operations. This is a unique opportunity to work with various clients, driving financial excellence and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead financial statement preparation and monthly close processes for multiple clients.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance transparency and strengthen internal controls.
Collaborate with client teams to provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff and clients.
Support clients in budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Deliver financial reporting and analysis tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree is required, with preferred concentrations in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; holding a CPA designation is highly favored.
8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior accounting leadership role.
Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar.
Proficiency in advanced financial modeling and analysis, along with a proven track record of constructing financial models.
Exceptional leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in a startup environment and a strong understanding of the SaaS and technology (hardware/software) sectors are essential.
