As a Full Stack Developer at Bookboost, you will play a key role in building and maintaining high-performance applications across the stack. As part of a cross-functional team, you'll collaborate on architectural decisions, real-time data processing, and delivering seamless user experiences.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn, grow and experiment with the latest technologies to serve hospitality industry-first use cases spanning both the analytical and machine learning domains.

  • Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance, and highly available applications across the stack, with a focus on both frontend and backend development.
  • Build and optimize frontend applications using Angular, ensuring responsiveness, performance, and a seamless user experience.
  • Leverage edge computing with Cloudflare Workers and other modern technologies to improve performance, availability, and deployment efficiency.
  • Assist in migrating services to edge runtimes, enhancing scalability and reducing latency.
  • Design and implement efficient APIs in collaboration with backend engineers, focusing on event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.
  • Participate in architectural discussions, contributing to technical direction, scalability strategies, and best practices.
  • Work cross-functionally with designers, product owners, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality features that enhance the platform.
What makes you a great fit?
  • 4+ years of experience in full-stack development, working with modern backend and frontend technologies.
  • Proficiency in Node.js or other JavaScript runtimes and TypeScript (experience with PHP/Laravel is a plus but not required).
  • Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including designing efficient schemas and writing optimized queries.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks, particularly Angular.
  • Familiarity with concepts of Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare services such as Durable Objects, KV, and Workflows, or other edge runtimes.
  • Understanding of cloud-based architectures, particularly in AWS.
  • A problem-solving mindset, ownership mentality, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
