Position Title: Full Stack Software Developer

Work Set Up: Work From Home

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PH Time

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

The role focuses on whole solution development of all areas of the software solution including the web, API, integration and lending platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for software analysis, design, development, documentation, defect resolution, and implementation of the components for the associated software applications, adhering to our development standards and best practices in an agile world.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop and refine components within our solution

• Developing and maintaining our application suite using a repeatable CI/CD pattern

• Creating robust and flexible software solutions in collaboration with the development team

• Assisting in configuring, integrating, and supporting various Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) applications

• Collecting, generating, or refining high-level requirements and creating implementation strategies, acceptance criteria, and test cases

• Deploying solutions to quality assurance environments and resolving defects discovered during testing

• Assisting in tracking project progress and ensuring timely resolution of defects

• Creating and maintaining comprehensive supporting documentation

• Undertaking additional software development responsibilities as required

• High engagement with the team on development practices

• Regular achievement of sprint tasks and goals

• Production of high-quality code with minimal defects

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience working in software development, with a focus on consumer and business applications

• Tertiary Qualifications in Computer Science or IT related field

• The candidate should have good skills in the software development lifecycle, messaging patterns, endpoint security, interfaces with internal and external applications, and database knowledge

• Strong development experience with .PHP and Laravel

• An understanding of responsive web design and experience in front end single- page application (SPA) JavaScript frameworks like Vue, Reactjs and Angular

• Understanding of SOA with knowledge of integration technologies like XML, SOAP, XSLT, JSON, RESTful, GraphQL web-services

• Experience working in Agile development environments

• Experience working within an AWS environment including an understanding of serverless services

• Strong experience with managing project and agile tracking and knowledge base tools such as JIRA, Linear and Confluence

• Effective at user story writing and converting business requirements into technical detail

• Grooming and estimation of the product backlog requirements, and as required, working with the Business Analysts to get them into a state of readiness for sprint planning

• Experience building out and using CI/CD pipelines and management tools eg Gitlab
