Job Purpose: To work in line with organizations efforts to grow its income streams, and ensure sustainable growth by identifying potential opportunities with the internal ideation process and through scouting and evaluation of external opportunities
Roles & Responsibilities:
To assist the reporting manager in the strategic planning process across the Group which defines the short-term and long-term strategies
To work on strategy formulation for Group Companies, both existing and new initiatives and formulate its growth and business development plans
Undertake market research and analysis for existing and new business ventures of the Group
To present expansion options to the reporting manager by analyzing global trends, tracking competitors’ business models, short- and long-term focus areas, potential geographies and mapping the market’s future plans against company’s business model
Support businesses in identifying opportunities for improvement, new initiatives, and investment opportunities
Closely monitor key performance metrics of the companies’ portfolio businesses including financials and cashflows and report to the management
Assist the reporting manager in formulating advice on the strategic matters of businesses and work alongside the Business Units for strategic business development activities
Evaluation of external opportunities for product and services licensing
Preparation of Financial models and Pitch Presentations for Strategic Business Development
Constant Monitoring of Budgets, Forecasts and Business Plans for reporting purposes
Identify, communicate, and execute on new opportunities related to the firm’s businesses functions
Provide cross-functional expertise to various company business units on initiation of new business ideas, multi-functional collaboration, etc.
Skill Set Required:
Direct experience in consulting, corporate strategy and/or strategic business development
Advanced spoken and written communication skills in English
Must be intellectually curious individuals with strong creative and imaginative prowess to generate ideas to solve business problems
Ability to work in a team and coordinating with multi-functional teams
Ability to implement project management principles across companies of the Group in a scientific and structured manner
Analytical and out of the box thinking and proactive problem solving
Strong internal and external relationship management skills
Strong quantitative, financial modeling and presentation skills
