Job description

It’s time to change. We change!
Welcome to Auvaria, where passion, team spirit, responsibility and courage form the basis of our culture.
We are looking for a motivated and solution-oriented team player (m/w/d) with a flair for product development and a strong hands-on mentality. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing, operating, and evolving our Auvaria Cloud Management Platform, as well as delivering managed services to our customers.

  • Development: You will be responsible for the continuous development of the Auvaria Cloud Management Platform, building and improving features from frontend to backend using modern cloud-native technologies to support our managed services customers.
  • Automation: You will automate our managed services operations, reducing manual effort and increasing efficiency by automating workflows like patch management, backup management, security management, and more.
  • Support & Operations: You will support our managed services customers in managing and optimizing their AWS environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security—including participating in on-call rotations.
  • Knowledge transfer and training: You will share your cloud expertise with your colleagues and customers in workshops and training courses. You will contribute to the continuous development of the team and the internal cloud competence.
This way, you can realise your full potential and strengthen the entire team at the same time!
Your profile:
  • Solid technical know-how: You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another relevant STEM field. You have at least two years of experience in the IT industry, ideally with a focus on cloud technologies.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in software development, with experience in modern front-end (Next.js, React, Angular) and back-end (TypeScript, Python, Go) frameworks.
  • AWS Expertise: You have at least one year of hands-on experience with AWS. Familiarity with key cloud services and tools is essential, and certifications like AWS Solution Architect are a big plus — or you’re ready to earn one!
  • DevOps Mindset: Hands-on experience with containerization, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, AWS CDK), and further DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, monitoring, etc.).
  • Managed Services Experience: Experience with instance management, patch management, monitoring, and operational automation in managed service environments is a plus.
  • Agile Working Experience: Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, or other agile methodologies and the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
  • Strong Independent Working Skills: You take ownership of tasks, are proactive in solving problems, and thrive in an environment that values autonomy and initiative.
  • Product Mindset: You are passionate about building and improving products, continuously evolving the Auvaria Cloud Management Platform to deliver value to customers.
  • Learning efficiency: You have excellent learning skills and are always motivated to learn new technologies and customer environments. You are curious and open to new challenges and are not afraid to learn new things.
