Job Requirements:

  • Stocktake Experience: Proven experience in conducting physical stocktakes and managing inventory records desired.
  • Data Entry Proficiency: Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and speed. 
  • Inventory Management Systems: Experience using inventory management software and tools. 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. 
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with other team members. 
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. 
  • Previous experience in stocktaking, data entry, or inventory management (essential). 
  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (desirable). Familiarity with inventory management software (desirable). 
  • Understanding of green products or have worked in the electronics industry with air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, cold rooms, solar or heat pumps desirable but not essential

Core responsibilities:

Stocktake Execution:

  • Conduct regular physical stocktakes of inventory in designated locations, ensuring accurate counts and recording discrepancies.
  • Utilize inventory management systems and tools to efficiently conduct stocktakes. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, working with relevant departments to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare stocktake reports summarizing findings and highlighting any significant variances. 
  • Ensure stocktake procedures are followed consistently and accurately.

Data Entry and Management:

  • Accurately and efficiently enter inventory data into our systems, including product information, quantities, locations, and movements.
  • Maintain the integrity of inventory data by regularly reviewing and updating records.
  • Manage inventory records, ensuring they are organized, accessible, and up-to-date. Generate inventory reports and provide data analysis as required.

Inventory Control and Process Improvement:

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of inventory control procedures. 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline stocktake processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., purchasing, logistics) to ensure efficient inventory flow. 
  • Assist in managing stock levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
