Job description

GoTeam is currently in search of a 3-month Project Based Underwriting Technical Assistant to provide essential support to our underwriting team. Join our team and become an integral part of our insurance company!

Base Salary: Up to Php 35,000

Target Start date: Around September 2024

This role is permanent work from home (remote) | 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM (Philippine Time)

What You Will Do

Managing all underwriting transactions and maintaining accurate records
Assisting with rating and issuing policy transactions for commercial lines of business
Developing a strong understanding of underwriting systems, workflows, and compliance rules
Communicating effectively with internal and external partners to ensure efficient processing of policies
Verifying policy data and resolving discrepancies
Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and superior customer service

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field or 2+ years of relevant industry experience
Ability to analyze exposure and control and understand coverage
Superior time management skills to meet underwriting goals and service standards
Strong problem solving ability and resourcefulness
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with all stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Service-oriented mindset with a high level of responsiveness to client needs.
