The Director of Channel Marketing will be responsible for owning and executing the channel marketing strategy for North America. This pivotal role will lead a dynamic team of channel marketers, overseeing alliances, partner programs, distribution, and our large volume-based resellers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the technology field and have demonstrated experience in driving successful B2B marketing initiatives through the channel. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, develop, and implement the channel marketing strategy that aligns to main business objectives and drives sales growth for our channel.  
  • Lead and develop a team of channel marketers by providing support, setting clear goals, and helping them grow in their roles. 
  • Partner with sales, field and global to ensure alignment on objectives and strategies to maximize impact. 
  • Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with partners and alliances to enhance collaboration and drive mutual success. 
  • Effectively present channel marketing plans to sales and marketing teams and leadership, showcasing strategic initiatives and anticipated outcomes. 
  • Plan, track, and manage the overall channel marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact. 
  • Measure and report on campaign effectiveness, ensuring that the ROI is maximized in relation to marketing spend and providing insights for future campaigns.  
  • Work closely with sales to ensure partner-sourced pipeline and revenue targets are met.  
Requirements: 

  • BA or BS in Business, Marketing or a related degree. 
  • 10+ years of channel marketing experience, with strong understanding of the partner ecosystem (e.g. cloud hyperscalars, technology alliances, service providers, VARs, large-scale partners, distribution) 
  • Demonstrated experience leading channel marketing teams the B2B technology sector. 
  • Proven experience delivering comprehensive channel marketing campaigns with defined and delivered expected outcomes. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on measuring success and optimizing marketing spend. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities. 
  • Knowledge of technology tools (e.g. Salesforce.com)
