The HR Services Manager (HRSM) plays a vital role within the Global Employment Outsourcing (GEO) organisation, by providing expert HR advice to a range of global clients relating to Employment Laws in Greece.

This is a full time position, fixed term contract for 1 year.

 

How you will make a difference: 
  • Be the go-to HR expert for all questions throughout the worker lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the Operations Team to guarantee seamless onboarding for new GEO workers.
  • Lead the charge in delivering comprehensive HR processes that include handbooks, policies, practices, and procedures – all while ensuring legal compliance.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage employment contracts (Starters, Leavers, Extensions, Transfers) with a strong focus on compliance.
  • Tackle complex HR issues and projects like performance management, terminations, and employment transfers.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on career progression, promotions, and salary recommendations.
  • Oversee offboarding (voluntary, involuntary, and retirements) with care and precision.
  • Advise and support management with HR-related responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations across the board.
  • Continuously update and apply HR policies, procedures, and work conditions while ensuring communication and compliance.
  • Maintain employee data according to local laws, ensuring privacy and protection.
  • Dive into exciting projects as requested by the management, adding value and making a difference!
  • Spot process gaps and proactively recommend and implement improvements to reduce risks.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by providing the team with regular updates on employment law and industry trends.
  • Be the backbone of our internal teams, offering ongoing guidance and support to Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Line Management.
  • Collaborate with benefit providers to offer legally compliant benefit packages and ensure transparent cost updates.
  • Manage monthly payroll for all workers in partnership with our local payroll team, ensuring smooth and compliant processes.

  • Expertise in Greek Labor Law – In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience.
  • Proven HR Background – Strong experience, especially in managing employment terminations.
  • Fluent in Greek & English – Essential for clear communication and effective support.
  • Experience Advising on Complex Employment Relations – Confident in handling intricate HR issues.
  • Payroll Experience – Previous experience in payroll is desirable.
