About the Position
The Senior Director, Ticket Sales and Service will be responsible for developing and managing sales and service campaigns for designated UFL teams, across a full menu of ticket products, including season ticket memberships, group tickets, premium seating, and individual game tickets. This will include the creation and implementation of pricing, packaging and retention strategies. Role may also assist in oversight of market salespeople from time to time.
What you will do
Lead the planning, development, and activation of all UFL ticket sales product offerings, including new full season memberships, group tickets, suites and individual game tickets, as well as the service, retention, renewal and upgrade efforts for UFL teams.
Prepare and manage an annual Ticket Sales/Service business plan and budget that encompasses sales and retention of all tickets for designated UFL markets.
Oversee the development and implementation of sales and service training programs.
Subject matter expert for Group Sales initiatives.
Oversee the development, planning and execution of group theme nights throughout the season
Work to identify key partnerships that will assist in developing group sales opportunities and manage those relationships across markets.
Actively participate in the development and management of sales staff at the team level.
Lead regular ticket sales team staff meetings and facilitating discussion and sharing of ideas related to growing ticket sales revenue.
Work closely with team markets in establishing and reviewing monthly and yearly sales revenue goals, retention goals, monitoring sales activities, and reporting of sales results for each team
Recruit, hire and train sales and service teams.
Lead development of annual renewal campaigns and/or seat relocation plans.
Provide reporting information on a regular basis of sales by product and retention volume and revenue totals on both departmental and individual seller levels.
Work closely with UFL Business Intelligence team to maintain accurate customer and prospective customer records in our database and distribute leads in an efficient manner.
Develop procedures for outbound ticket sales efforts that address the following: prospecting, lead generation and data capture and database management
Manage and measure the effectiveness of ticket sales and service-related technology tools, and explore newly available technology for opportunities to improve the overall results
Work closely with the UFL Business Intelligence and Ticket Operations team establishing, monitoring, and modifying ticket prices across all team ticket sales and retention product offerings.
Work closely with SVP, Ticket Sales & Service to develop go to market strategies, tactics and implementation plans for all ticket sales, service and retention campaigns.
Work closely with UFL Marketing Team to develop comprehensive communications strategies to support ticket sales, service and retention initiatives.
Accountability for a professional sales culture and adherence to the brand values of the organization
What you will bring
Minimum of 6 years of experience working in ticket sales with a collegiate and/or professional sports franchise or facility and with four (4) years management experience preferred overseeing sales teams
Minor league and/or start-up or new venue development experience preferred
Experience managing and overseeing multiple sports properties preferred
The ideal candidate has experience in sports or entertainment event ticket pricing, packaging, resourcing, and selling
Proficiency in Archtics, Google Suite, Microsoft Office 365, CRM databases, Salesforce preferred
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Competitive nature and a contagious, positive attitude
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to problem solve and establish systems and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency
Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism and a passion for the sports industry
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability and willingness to travel frequently
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Bachelor’s degree in sports management, marketing, business, or a related field or equivalent experience required

Additional Details
The location of this role is flexible and remote
Primarily works in a remote office and/or an office environment
During the season this role will be required to attend weekly games in our team markets as well as during the playoffs
Frequent and regular travel to UFL team markets will be required.
Work requires the ability to lift/carry objects routinely as follows:
Light Lifting: No lifting of objects weighing more than 15 pounds on a regular basis.
Salary:
Pursuant to the state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this position with final offer dependent on education, skills, experience and location is $130,000 to $150,000. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and other benefits.
