We are delighted to be partnered with an elite international law firm, supporting them on a wider team-build out, of which includes a Head of Business Development for their first-in-class Private Capital sector group. This is a pivotal role for the firm, and this is genuinely a rare opportunity to join an elite law firm that is going through one of the most exciting international transformation projects in the legal space today. This position will focus on spearheading the firms flagship Private Capital group to drive their international client capabilities across the exciting Private Capital space, working with some of the most high-profile Private Equity houses, Asset and Wealth Managers, Real Estate investors and more!
This role will sit in a genuinely global position, overseeing an integrated client strategy that ensures the firms brand is felt with its existing and target clients across different regions, whilst also being involved in external relationship building.
Reporting into the newly appointed Chief Marketing Officer, responsibilities will include:
- Strategically planning and implementing business development plans to ensure growth targets are being met and driving collaboration with the marketing team so that these plans are delivered in an integrated manner and in line with the wider business strategy.
- Playing an advisory role to partners to ensure best practice by bringing new and proactive ideas to the table, including identifying opportunities in the Private Capital space and ensuring the best utilisation of resources, including newly invested digital tools.
- Leading a team underneath that you will oversee in regards to client activities, as well as driving marketing projects and driving collaboration with sector aligned communications teams.
- Collaborating with wider teams, including the data and research team to ensure data-backed business development, as well as the wider business development team to ensure better cross-selling both locally and internationally.

- Able to manage an international team, whilst also influencing partners to be engaged in priority business development activities through high levels of emotional intelligence.
