Job description

Red Door Collaborative seeks an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Creative Project Manager to provide ongoing support and leadership to our internal Creative Team. We're looking for someone who can partner with all stakeholders (internal and external), support both full-time and contract-based creatives, and possess strong project management competencies. This person will be important in keeping projects moving internally and managing the client's expectations at all levels of the project lifecycle.

This is a fully remote internal role with Red Door Collaborative, offering an annual salary between $72,000 - 90,000 with benefits.





Creative Team Project Manager

About the Opportunity

Red Door Collaborative seeks an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Project Manager to provide ongoing support and leadership to our internal Creative Team. We're looking for someone who can partner with all stakeholders (internal and external), support both full-time and contract-based creatives, and possess strong project management competencies. This person will be important in keeping projects moving internally and managing the client's expectations at all levels of the project lifecycle.

They will engage with Red Doors clients to gather information and understand the overall direction of the creative requests, proactively lead our Creative Team toward completion of project deliverables, and lend support to the team in various administrative activities.

These activities will include building project schedules, forecasting, and monitoring resource utilization for projects, coordinating with multiple creatives and teams to ensure that projects start and finish on time, ensuring the quality of all deliverables meet or exceed expectations, gathering stakeholders' feedback in a timely manner, and enforce consistent design process during all projects.

As our Creative Team grows in capabilities and impact, we anticipate that this role will have opportunities for increased responsibilities and impact in the future.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a bridge between Red Door Collaborative's internal Creative Team (comprised of an assembled cast of full-time designers and contract-based creatives), our clients and partners, and other support teams.
  • Support or run internal client meetings as needed; be responsible for daily communication with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing creative project processes and updating all stakeholders involved.
  • Assist in managing project timelines, managing project spend, and reviewing creative deliverables for accuracy and alignment with clients' expectations before delivery.
  • Improve existing processes for our internal Creative Team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate project execution and elevate Red Doors brand experience with clients.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in your support of the Creative Team on various administrative duties.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings; detailed requirements gathering, note-taking, and communication within a project management tool.
Requirements
  • You embody graceful leadership and nurture collaborative partnerships in all facets of your work.

  • You pay great attention to detail and proactively evaluate, recommend, and implement opportunities to improve internal tools and processes.
  • You possess 2-4 years of experience in client services, account management, or project management of creatives within an agency setting.
  • You have knowledge and proficiency with digital workflows and project management tools.
  • You are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • You are familiar with the Adobe Creative suite.
  • You are eager and adept at picking up new technologies and tools to improve efficiency.
  • You are defined by motivation, determination, self-confidence, and a natural ability to build healthy relationships.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders and leadership at all levels.
  • You can deftly navigate ambiguous environments and circumstances with grace and tact.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A degree or certification within any of the following fields: project management, design, marketing, communications, etc.
  • Personal experience working as an individual contributor within a creative role.
  • Able to manage a high volume of tasks and multiple projects at once - you make juggling look easy.
  • Understands (or is excited to learn) how to assemble a wide range of creatives and lead them to successful outcomes, both in terms of deliverables and experience, time and again.
Compensation + Benefits
  • This is a salaried (exempt) position with an anticipated annual pay of $72 - 90k.
