Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CloudOps Oracle Engineer to join our team and support a key customer in Finland. This role requires expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, and security management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing cloud environments, ensuring seamless deployments, and maintaining optimal performance and security.

Location: Remote (supporting customer in Finland)

Start date: Mid-February (2-week transition and training period)

Your Responsibilities

Manage and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, including VCN, IAM, Compute Services, Block Storage, Object Storage, Load Balancers, and Databases.
Maintain and upgrade Oracle Kubernetes / Oracle Kubernetes platform, ensuring effective POD managementand smooth container operations.
Implement and maintain automated deployment tools (Terraform) for infrastructure provisioning.
Oversee Oracle Cloud and container environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Manage patching processes to ensure security and stability of cloud-based applications.
Configure and manage WAF Firewall for enhanced security.
Utilize Oracle Data Safe to monitor and secure databases.
Administer Oracle Unified Directory Services Manager and Oracle Redis cluster for efficient data management.
Implement Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) for identity and access management.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Git,
Docker Hub, and Docker containers.
Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash to streamline operations.
Monitor OCI environments using Oracle Cloud Log Management and Stack Monitoring tools

Our Requirements

Proven experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Git.
Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash.
Expertise in Oracle security solutions, including Oracle Identity Cloud Service
(IDCS) and Oracle Data Safe.
Strong background in cloud monitoring and log management.
Familiarity with WAF Firewall and cloud security best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
