About The Role
This role is scoped to understand the website, its user flow, how data is collected through tags and the systems in place to track it: GA4, GTM, Looker, Google Ads, data layers, custom variables, PWG etc. You will employ Big Query and SQL for data imports and oversee requirements connected to web analytics platforms. As a Senior Web Analyst you will be seen as an expert within our team on all things that relate to web data, analytics and tracking methodologies.
While this is a remote position, candidates will be expected to work in PST.
Responsibilities
Analytic/Tagging strategy to provide detailed data analysis and implement proper user tracking throughout company web properties.
Identify key segments to improve audience development, micro-conversion measurement, and funnel drop-off
Provide support for A/B test design and result analysis
Cross-team collaboration with analytics partners to capture data needed to drive business decisions
Ensure QA processes are up-to-date / keep updated on Eng. product changes maintaining working knowledge of industry best practices to identify how they impact paid program
Documentation related to data layer / server-side implementation requirements
Diagnose issues with existing platform configurations and tags and provide recommendations for improvement
Develop and maintain processes for tag requests/approval and management
Aid in providing quantitative analyses and help identify data trends to make informed marketing decisions to drive business growth
Maintain and validate customer marketing campaign data and build data visualization for ongoing reporting, presentation, or documentation
About You

Strong familiarity with GA4, no required GTM implementation
Problem solving and critical thinking
Strong QA, troubleshooting and debugging
Great communication and Soft skills (ask questions you don’t know)
Familiarity with SQL and Data visualization
Intermediate spreadsheet skills like pivot, lookup, index, match etc…
Not a Must, But a Plus
Experience using SQL, BigQuery, Salesforce etc.
Experience with debugging through GTM/ Tag Assistant
Ability to create data layer and data structure suggestions for buttons/ actions that need to be tagged to hand off to Eng
