Job Duties And Responsibilities

The Training Supervisor will plan, assign, and coordinate the department’s day-to-day operations in support of Manufacturing & Distribution sites. This role serves as a liaison between training, internal customers, and other support departments to ensure associates have the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill their responsibilities at EchoStar.

This role requires travel of up to 50% and may involve overseeing two sites, making strong remote management and leadership skills essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise & Develop Training Teams:

Manage On-the-Job Trainers (OJTs), overseeing their performance, timekeeping, and overall development

Supervise and coordinate OJTs providing training in a Manufacturing & Distribution environment that may include repair and refurbishing operations

Monitor productivity to ensure compliance with established training procedures and quality standards

Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and implement solutions aligned with business objectives

Lead daily and weekly meetings with team members to reinforce key training initiatives and expectations

Training Design & Implementation:

Design and implement training programs using multiple learning methodologies, including instructor-led, e-learning, hands-on training, and remote training strategies

Develop multimedia training content (graphics, video, audio) to support learning initiatives

Establish measurable learning objectives and track training effectiveness using pre- and post-assessments

Manage training schedules to optimize resource allocation and site-specific needs

Remote & Multi-Site Management:

Support training operations across one or more sites, requiring strong remote leadership skills

Utilize remote communication tools to engage and align teams, ensuring consistency in training delivery

Collaborate with site leaders to adapt training strategies for different operational environments

Data-Driven Training Performance & Reporting:

Maintain accurate training records, tracking employee progress, compliance, and business impact

Develop and maintain data collection methods, reporting tools, and forecasting models to assess training needs and effectiveness

Continuously refine training methodologies based on feedback and performance analytics

Experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, or similar high-performance environments is highly desirable

Required Skills & Competencies:

Proven leadership experience in training, coaching, or operations within Manufacturing & Distribution environments

Ability to effectively manage remote teams and engage employees across multiple sites

Instructional design skills—ability to create, implement, and evaluate training programs

Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, reporting, and forecasting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver impactful training and drive engagement

Proficiency in Google Suite for data analysis, reporting, and training documentation

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

Commitment to continuous improvement and long-term strategic planning

Travel & Remote Work Expectations:

Ability to travel up to 50% as needed for multi-site training support

Must have strong remote leadership skills to manage training operations effectively across different locations

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year
