Job Title: Director of Solutions

Job Summary

The Director of Solutions - Hospitality has the responsibility of ensuring the successful oversight and execution of work for the Hospitality group included in the LB Solutions Portfolio and is the prime point of contact for the Solutions Group client and client properties. As such, the Director of Solutions - Hospitality will serve as the Lerch Bates account leader and work with the client directly to provide world-class service, being responsive to the client’s requests and inquiries, understanding the client’s challenges, assisting with resolving challenges relating to elevators and elevator contracts as an intrepid advocate for our clients.

What You’ll Do

The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed in this position. They are not intended to prescribe or restrict the assignments that management may make.

  • Analyze callout reports/invoices/surveys to stay abreast of potential issues and current problems for the client or the account manager.
  • Assist in solving and negotiating conflicts between contractors and the clients.
  • Communicate with the client on behalf of the company via email, telephone, and in-person meetings as per contractual obligations and client requests.
  • Organize information and data using LB databases to maintain and track projects, concerns, and resolutions.
  • Create and manage consistent processes and documents for use to support client’s needs.
  • Develop employees in their area to meet compliance requirements, client expectations of quality of service, and future succession planning for the organization through training, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Network with others to develop business opportunities and potential future employees.
  • Meet regularly with current clients to maintain and enhance relationships.
  • Actively prospect for major client opportunities.
  • Act as an Individual contributor who also manages the work of Portfolio Managers and Consultants.
  • Minimum 1 week per month at our Global Support Center, Denver, Colorado.

What You’ll Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in business Admin, Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities.
  • Minimum 15 years of elevator and industry experience , including New Design, Existing Building, and National Account level clients preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Strong leadership skills , including coaching and counseling, enabling others to act, and developing a service and team-focused culture amongst direct reports.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop, plan and execute strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment juggling multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of Portfolio Managers and build partnerships and direct teams.
  • Ability to travel nationally on a regular basis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Acrobat and PowerPoint.
