We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team on a fixed term contract for 6 months. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing our organisation’s systems, processes, and requirements and proposing effective solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across the University, including business users, IT teams, and management to gather and analyse requirements, identify gaps and implement innovative solutions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to enter a well-established and respected department on a remote/home working basis from within the UK. As our Business Systems Analyst you will be responsible for gathering and analysing requirements for both projects and change requests and producing business requirements specifications.
As our Business Systems Analyst,you will:
Collaborate with business users, stakeholders and IT teams to gather and document requirements for new systems of system enhancements
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, user stories and process flows
Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements, provide updates and gather feedback from stakeholders
Provide support and guidance to development teams during the implementation phase
Is this you?:
Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications
Solid understand of business processes, workflows and systems
Experience in developing system documentation, including functional specifications and process flows
Working remotely, from a UK based location.
