This role is to provide Project Management of IT Infrastructure to ensure the various projects and stakeholders are aligned to meet the needs of the Manufacturing Plants in Mexico and other Building Facilities in the Americas (i.e. Southeast Michigan – SEMI).
Responsibilities
Following is the main list of activities that this IT infrastructure Site Management Project Manager Analyst will be responsible for:
Duties will include:
Governance: drive the creation and execution of the governance structures needed to ensure Building facilities IT infrastructure deliverables are delivered appropriately. Lead and document recurring governance meetings.
Risk Management and Issues Management - Assist in the identification, analysis and evaluation of project issues and risks; Assist in the development of project mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Scope Management - For each of the IT infrastructure needs in building facilities, ensure ITO charters are developed and include adequate scope definitions; Develop and manage project change request processes.
Schedule Management - Identify critical milestones and monitoring progress; Monitor timely action on schedule variances.
Performance Management - Periodically evaluate effectiveness of performance reporting; Prepare for Executive Program Reviews; Facilitate internal program status/performance meetings.
Financial Management - Maintain and manage the overall program budget; Track billings - internal and purchase orders; Prepare program financial reporting.
Communications - Establish the program's communication plan; Monitor the effectiveness of internal (team-to-team, team-to-program) and external (sponsor, stakeholder) program communication channels.
Vendor Management - Collaborate with external vendors to get IT infrastructure quotes, track Purchase Order creation & placement, plan delivery of materials and installation, and manage support requests.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills:
Project/Program management skills including financial tracking; Preferable PMI certified.
Experience on maintaining project scope and timing in the face of sometimes opposing customer demands.
Solid of knowledge and experience on multiple IT Infrastructure technologies including Network, Servers, Computer room, Telecommunications, Building Facilities, PC Renewal, Unified Communications (Audio & Video teleconference equipment), etc.
Experience with contracting, governance, and integrating vendor activities.
Ability to communicate effectively with business users and IT professionals including globally distributed teams.
Experience on collecting, understanding and documenting building facilities IT infrastructure requirements.
A willingness to work in a high-pressure environment and flexible working shift is a foundation in this space.
Highly organized and analytical: Exhibits meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
Have a continuous improvement and innovation philosophy and practice.
Solid, positive and effective teamwork skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Tools (especially Project, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Jira tools for Project Tracking is preferred.

Proficiency on the Use of Ford’s Digital Worker Tools (WebEx, etc.)
Education Preference:
BS/BA degrees in IT or other related field, a plus to consider are Certifications of Technology or related certification such as Methodologies / Standards.
Preferable PMI certified and/or +3 years as dedicated IT Infrastructure Project Manager.
Master’s degree in IT or related is a Plus.
Additional Information:
Ability to travel occasionally. Position requires a Mexican Passport/USA Visa and a driver's license (may travel and use of rental cars)
Position will be based in Chihuahua, Chih. Mexico.
