The Animal Safety Division at Neogen is currently seeking a Veterinary Sales Territory Manager.  The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have an engaging personality with the ability to foster long term customer relationships.  To be considered, a candidate must have a minimum of one or two year’s sales experience preferably in an animal health or animal industry related field. Candidates must be in the vicinity of Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, or New Jersey. Daily travel within geographic area and some overnight travel required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Calls on veterinary customers, prospects, and distributor representatives within a distinguished geographic area in the field and by telephone, informs them of new and existing products/services, and explains characteristics and benefits.
  • Promotes and sells all veterinary products and services offered by the company.
  • Communicates with existing customer base on a consistent basis to: (1) monitor customer satisfaction; (2) resolve customer problems and concerns; (3) monitor competitive position; and (4) Provide technical support.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from four-Year College or University, or equivalent experience, and one or two year’s professional sales experience in the animal health or equine profession.
