Inspector

Salary from £30,400 - £38,000

Location: Home Based

Permanent / Full Time

Role

This role is responsible for providing thorough inspection of company assets in line with company policy, including OH assets up to and including 33KV. Feedback from these reports is used by the company to prioritise remedial works or renewals.

   

What you’ll be doing 

  • Primarily inspection of SPEN Overhead line network

  • Recognising and reporting of defects.

  • Immediate reporting of “I Hazards.”

  • Contributes as an effective team member in Energy Networks.

  • Point of contact for site issues

  • Assist with any Customer enquiries.

What you’ll bring 

  • Working knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices.

  • Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.

  • Developed customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of network and business data and network management systems.

  • Ability to devise solutions to complex problems/challenges.

  • Resource planning and work management skills.

  • Knowledge of how Energy Networks OH electrical network operates.

  • Full driving licence

  • Ability to use handheld Toughbook

  • Knowledge of EN Asset Inspection policy (ASSET-01-021)

Minimum Criteria  

  • Business knowledge of Compliance and 3rd party construction and connections

  • Working knowledge of company Health & Safety requirements and compliance

  • Working knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices.

  • An effective and confident written and verbal communicator Computer literacy – e.g. Microsoft Office suit
