What will you do?

As a DevOps/Platform Engineer at Bizzdesign, you will work with our globally AWS-hosted SaaS platform, used by some of the largest companies in the world.

Within that environment, you will work with a wide range of technologies; your role will include both strengthening and building the next iteration of the platform as well as the tooling to support that.

You will be working with Development, Operations and Security teams to solve the challenges that come with a highly available and 24/7 platform that is in a constant state of change. Many of these changes will be initiated by you through trunk-based development, supported by GitOps.

What are we looking for?

• You are currently based in the Netherlands, Germany or United Kingdom
• You have the willingness to learn, grow, expand your knowledge, ask questions, and step outside your comfort zone
• You are a critical thinker, detail-driven, able to manage time across several projects simultaneously, and have excellent problem-solving skills and good level of abstract thinking
• You know your way around Terraform, JQ, AWS cloud services, Python, Git, Bash
• You have proven experience working with remote / asyncronous teams, as your work will have a 4 hour overlap between Dutch and US workday
• You have experience being part of a team responsible for operating and maintaining a platform or software product with high availability and/or 24/7 usage
• You are willing and able to be part of our on-call rotation, one week every 6 weeks
• You have at least 2 years of experience as a DevOps or Platform Engineer.
• You are fluent in English (verbal and written)
• You have affinity with software development and principles like DRY, Clean Code, Functional Programming
• You can work with a continuous high number of (code) changes around you, some of which might be influencing your current activities
