Research Assistant (LATAM)

In a Nutshell //


The Research Assistant (LATAM) for Symphonic will work remotely in Colombia and be responsible for researching and compiling sales leads for the Client Acquisition team. This role will utilize both public and proprietary research tools and other software, and from time to time will assist Symphonic offices with general administrative tasks. The Research Assistant (LATAM) will report to the Revenue Operations Manager.


What you will do //

  • Research potential leads to find contact information and relevant details (website, social profiles, etc) and compile lists every week for the Client Acquisition team outreach.
  • Work with the Client Onboarding and Operations team to assist with data entry, processing and management.
  • Handle and research potential leads that may surface through the Help Desk.
  • Use several different sources for lead generation, including Instrumental, Chartmetric, Spotify playlists, blogs and articles with lists, Pitchfork, FADER and other various genre-specific content online.
  • Track and maintain all leads investigated by name, dates contacted, source and outcome [artist/label name, date, source, outcome] and identify most effective lead sources over time.
  • Achieve or exceed established weekly and monthly quotas.
  • Maintain reporting on lead tracking.
  • At times, work with team members in all Symphonic offices for general administrative tasks.


What you need to have //

  • 1 year of experience in a position with a high volume of accurate data entry and client interaction.
  • Experience with quality control measures to ensure information is entered in systems correctly.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail while balancing speed and accuracy in time-sensitive tasks.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and/or equivalent Google applications. 
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience in a research role and environment
  • Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus.

Compensation$2,500,000.00 - $3,250,000.00 COP Gross Monthly (Depending on experience)
