Language Pedagogist (French/Spanish Preferred)

Job Title: Language Pedagogist (French/Spanish Preferred)
Location: Remote (US-based preferred, must be able to work in some PST time zone)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:
We are seeking a Language Pedagogist with a strong background in language education to
support the development of a new, innovative Language Learning Product. This individual will
work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, and UX
Design to design, develop, and evaluate language learning experiences and metrics.
We are especially interested in candidates who are native French speakers with teaching
credentials and also fluent in Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese (with a preference for French +
Spanish).

Key Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with product and UX teams to define pedagogical approaches and learning
outcomes
● Develop and evaluate language learning metrics and provide feedback to improve
product features
● Contribute pedagogical insights to content and feature design
● Perform ongoing evaluation and optimization of the learning experience
● Support language content development for multiple languages (with focus on French
and Spanish)

Qualifications:
● Native speaker in French (required); Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese a strong plus
● Degree in Language Education, Applied Linguistics, or related field
● Demonstrated experience in teaching or curriculum design for adult or digital language
learning
● Strong collaboration and communication skills; experience working cross-functionally in
tech/product teams preferred
● Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
● Comfortable working in PST Timezone
● US-based candidates preferred, but open to global candidates who can align with the
time zone

Work & Access Details:
● Candidate can begin work immediately with their own laptop and vendor email account
● Partner account provisioning will be handled in parallel
● Remote work is supported

Additional Preference:
● Experience with digital language learning products or EdTech
● Fluency in more than one target language (especially French and Spanish)
● Strong knowledge of CEFR or other language proficiency frameworks
