Product Owner

As Product Owner you are responsible for the execution, vision and roadmap of the product to ensure the best customer experience, aiming to provide optimal, high-quality service. You are also responsible to ensure that the functional definitions and product priorities are aligned with the overall strategy..

Responsibilities

• Apply a customer-centric mindset to deeply understand the customer's needs and represent their voice within the development team and ensure that the solutions developed meet the customer's requirements and expectations.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to ensure that the roadmap is built with solutions that not only should be delivered, but also can be delivered. These insights are a valuable contribution to guide the implementation of the solutions.
• Ensure that the backlog is well-defined and prioritized to maximize the value the development team delivers. Make sure that user stories are well-defined and ready for implementation.
• Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to ensure the product is built in a sustainable and scalable way.
• Work closely with design and technical teams, providing continuous support and feedback during the definition or development of features. Clarify doubts and facilitate decision-making on specific product details to help UX and UI experts make the best decisions.

• Proactively monitor the health metrics of features to ensure they meet the target level. Additionally, propose initiatives to improve those metrics and align responsibilities with the PM and the design team.

Qualifications

• Engineering or economics background
• At least 2 years of experience in similar positions in Fintech, payments or Ecommerce companies.
• Analytical skills and SQL intermediate level.
• Experience using queries in databases.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience using agile methodologies.
• Startup experience.
