Job description

This is a remote position.

ManageEngine is the IT management division of Zoho Corporation. With over 280,000 customers across the world, ManageEngine is a recognized leader in the IT management space. We've been witnessing phenomenal growth, and to keep up with the demand, we are doubling down on our efforts by building a world-class team.


The central marketing team is a group within ManageEngine, dedicated to marketing world class enterprise IT solutions, across 190 countries. We are seeking a talented, self-motivated and dedicated event specialist to join our North American marketing team, and work on effective event engagements and strategies. The ideal candidate will need to have a data-driven approach and will need to get hands-on to accomplish tasks.

The candidate should be open to travel (domestic and international), and may have to occasionally accommodate collaboration in global time zones.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Candidate must reside in the Eastern or Central time zone
  • Plan, manage, and execute corporate events, trade shows, industry conferences, webinars, and customer meetups to achieve business objectives. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to handle logistics, sponsorships, booth setups, speaker coordination, and post-event follow-ups. 
  • Develop and execute event marketing strategies, including email campaigns, social media promotions, landing pages, and paid ads. 
  • Work with sales teams to ensure high-quality lead generation and post-event engagement through targeted follow-up campaigns. 
  • Measure event success using KPIs such as attendance rates, engagement, lead conversion, and ROI analysis. 
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality experiences. 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor events to enhance our event strategy.

Basic qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in event planning and execution, preferably in B2B software or tech industries. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously. 
  • Experience with event marketing strategies, including email automation, paid promotions, and digital campaigns. 
  • Ability to analyze event performance metrics and make data-driven improvements. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor and partner collaborations. 
  • Familiarity with event management tools (e.g., Zoho Backstage, Cvent, Eventbrite, HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM software. 
  • Willingness to travel for in-person events as needed.

 Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in the event management industry
  • Accomplished range of skills from strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
  • Ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization to explain and gain support for initiatives
  • The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
