Job description

Role Overview: The MLT20 Campaign Project Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and coordination of key initiatives for MLT’s 20-Year Campaign, including regional receptions and marketing/PR activities (including promotion of a 250+ person Senior Leader Forum and 2,000 person National Conference). They will develop and maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring all deliverables stay on track and align with the campaign’s goals.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:
  • Lead Project Management for Key Campaign Initiatives – Oversee planning, execution, and coordination of MLT’s 20-Year Campaign initiatives, including regional receptions and marketing/PR activities.
  • Develop and Maintain Project Timelines – Create and manage detailed project plans, ensuring deliverables stay on track and align with campaign goals.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination – Serve as the central point of contact, collaborating with internal teams (marketing, events, partnerships, alumni, 20th anniversary project team) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of campaign efforts.
  • Logistics & Event Execution Support – Assist in planning and executing campaign-related events, including venue coordination, vendor management, and promotional material development.
  • Track and Report on Campaign Metrics – Monitor progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), providing updates and insights to leadership on campaign effectiveness and areas for optimization.
  • Manage Marketing and PR Deliverables – Work with the marketing team to ensure the timely rollout of promotional assets, media outreach, and digital content that align with campaign messaging.
  • Problem-Solving & Risk Management – Identify potential roadblocks in project execution and proactively develop solutions to maintain momentum and ensure a high-quality experience for stakeholders.

  • Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of project management or event coordination experience, preferably in a marketing, nonprofit, or corporate setting.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Asana, and Slack; comfortable working extensively with spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver, able to anticipate challenges and develop solutions.
  • Experience with event planning and logistics coordination, including vendor management.
  • Ability to analyze and report on campaign metrics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Willing to travel 4+ times during the duration of 12 months.
