Description

Position Summary

We are an elite accounting firm with offices in Chicago, Oakbrook, and Salt Lake City. We seek a Remote/ Hybrid Client Onboarding Manager in the Chicagoland area to ensure a smooth and successful onboarding experience for new clients. This client-facing role requires excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and expertise in accounting and various systems.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide exceptional onboarding support to new clients, ensuring a seamless transition into our accounting systems.
  • Assist clients with setting up and optimizing QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Expensify, BILL, Gusto, Ramp, etc.
  • Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help clients effectively use their new systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client concerns and ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Perform bookkeeping, accounting, and month-end close tasks.
  • Manage special onboarding projects for new clients.
  • Attend weekly onboarding meetings to report to your team and manager.
Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of client accounting operations and accounting principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience in accounting
  • NetSuite: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Required)
  • QuickBooks: 2 years (Required)
  • Client onboarding: 1 year (Required)
  • Client accounting: 2 years (Required)
  • Prior experience in onboarding new clients. Experience in the client accounting and advisory space is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a client accounting environment.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or NetSuite.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make complex concepts easy to understand.
  • Project management skills.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem solving.

Pay Transparency:
Estimated salary range is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00, dependent on skills and experience.
