The Role

The IT SAP Analyst leads and/or executes the analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, implementation and operational support for SAP solutions supporting the Global Finance organization. Specifically, the IT SAP Analyst will deliver, and support solutions related to General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, and Financial Planning. The IT SAP Analyst works with multiple stakeholders to understand and document the end-to-end business processes and related challenges – then recommends, builds and implements one or more IT software solutions to support the processes. The IT SAP Analyst spends roughly 20% of their time working directly with their business partners (e.g. controller, finance manager) supporting day-to-day operations of the record-to-report business processes.

This position has been designated as fully remote in the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Acts as a liaison between the functional teams and the information technology development and database administration teams.
  • Act in a lead role on IT Development and DBA teams responsible for complex system issues, enhancements, and projects.
  • Act as a liaison between the functional teams and the IT Development and DBA teams on moderately complex system issues, enhancements and projects.
  • Design and ensure the success of the SAP Finance Application Suite’s test and release processes.
  • Direct and provide ad hoc training on system functionality as required by the business.
  • Ensure that systems issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner to meet the month-end and quarter-end deadlines of the accounting and finance teams.
  • Lead the accounting and finance teams in researching, documenting, and resolving complex functional issues relating to the SAP Applications Financial Suite.
  • Work with the functional teams to evaluate and develop detailed documentation of system enhancements and business cases supporting enhancement requests.
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • Finance or Accounting Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
  • Strong accounting foundation is required.
  • Experience working in a customer support role and experience with the SAP Financial Applications are required.
  • Must be able to succeed in a challenging, fast-paced environment that requires collaboration across multiple functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills are required.
  • High competency in Excel, SQL/PLSQL and Discoverer.
Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO  HI  MI  MN  NC  NH  NV  OR  RI
