About the Job:

The Senior Business Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Bayantech by developing strategic business relationships and enhancing client support. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the translation industry, strong sales acumen, and the ability to lead initiatives that drive revenue and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive growth strategies focused on maximizing financial gain and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Client Prospecting: Identify and target new business opportunities through market research, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities.
  • Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed assigned revenue quotas through effective sales techniques and relationship management.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify new markets, assess customer needs, and analyze competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
  • Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring effective communication through calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Contract Negotiation: Prepare, negotiate, and finalize sales contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Quote Preparation and Follow-Up: Generate competitive quotes for clients and lead follow-up efforts to convert quotes into successful projects.
  • Sales Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, revenue, and client interactions using CRM software.
  • Post-Sales Support: Provide exceptional after-sales support and feedback, fostering long-term relationships with clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure alignment on messaging, promotional materials, and market strategies.
  • Presentations and Demonstrations: Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing Bayantech's unique solutions and value propositions.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends and customer drivers, regularly reporting insights to management and stakeholders to shape strategic direction.
  • Event Representation: Represent Bayantech at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote services and expand network connections.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a business development executive, preferably within the translation or localization industry, with a strong track record of success.
  • Demonstrated ability to close new business and achieve sales targets.
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales, including negotiations and contract management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Excellent proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the translation industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and planning abilities.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting is essential.
