Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager will lead the execution of the Contract Repository & Analyzer initiative, ensuring strategic alignment, timely delivery, and seamless integration with enterprise systems. This role requires a seasoned project leader with a strong understanding of contract lifecycle management (CLM), AI-driven contract analytics, and enterprise data governance.

The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, legal/compliance stakeholders and other IT technical teams to define project scope, establish key milestones, and drive execution. They will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory and business requirements, mitigating project risks, and optimizing project workflows to maximize efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Strategic Project Leadership & Execution
    • Define the strategic roadmap for both the Contract Repository and Contract Analyzer, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
    • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), resource allocation, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
    • Oversee project budget, cost tracking, and vendor contract negotiations to optimize costs while meeting functional objectives.
    • Implement best practices in Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies, ensuring an efficient and adaptable project execution model.
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT, legal, compliance, procurement, and executive leadership.
    • Partner with legal teams to ensure contract repository governance, compliance, and regulatory adherence.
    • Work with data governance teams to define metadata standards, security policies, and access controls.
    • Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing system enhancements.
    • Lead and facilitate stakeholder meetings, steering committees, and executive reporting sessions.
  1. Risk Management & Issue Resolution
    • Proactively identify, document, and mitigate project risks across functional, technical, and regulatory domains.
    • Establish change control mechanisms to manage scope creep and ensure stakeholder alignment.
    • Drive escalation procedures for critical path items, ensuring timely resolution and risk mitigation.
  2. Performance Tracking & Reporting
    • Define and track KPIs for system performance, contract processing efficiency, and compliance adherence.
    • Ensure alignment with corporate data governance policies and contract lifecycle best practices.
    • Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and project status updates for leadership teams.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 3+ years of experience in project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Experience in contract management systems or legal tech projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Experience managing AI-driven analytics or data governance projects is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
