The Role

Apollo.io is looking for a Director of Business Recruitment to lead G&A and GTM hiring as we continue scaling. In this role, you will drive high-impact hiring strategies, partner closely with senior business leaders, and optimize recruitment processes to support our next phase of growth.

This is a player-coach role requiring both strategic vision and hands-on execution. You will report into the VP, Talent and be responsible for 200+ hires across Sales, Support, Onboarding, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Legal over the next 12-24 months, ensuring we build a world-class team to drive Apollo.io’s continued success.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and execute the industy hiring strategy for G&A and GTM functions, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
  • Build trusted partnerships with key stakeholders, including our CRO, CMO, Chief Legal Officer, VP of Finance, VP of HR, SVP of Sales Ops, and Senior Director of Sales.
  • Work closely with Finance and HR to drive headcount planning and align hiring strategies with business objectives.
  • Lead a team of 5+ recruiters and collaborate with the Senior Manager of Talent Operations and Recruitment Coordination team to optimize processes.
  • Develop a data-driven recruitment strategy, tracking key metrics such as source of hire, time to hire, funnel metrics, and candidate/hiring manager experience, quality of hire, etc
  • Ensure rapid ramp-up of our Mexico office, focusing on sales, support, and onboarding functions.
  • Leverage top recruitment tools like Greenhouse, GEM, Brighthire, LinkedIn, and SeekOut to drive sourcing efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, agility, and collaboration, ensuring the team embodies Apollo.io’s values.
What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with ATS (Greenhouse), sourcing tools (GEM, SeekOut), and hiring platforms (LinkedIn, Brighthire).
