Job description

Overview:

The Business Development Manager, Enterprise for the Northeast is accountable for driving adoption of the Q-SYS platform and ecosystem within the Enterprise vertical by championing the Q-SYS solution set to key contacts within the top multi-national corporations.

 

Preferred applicants should reside within the following states: NY, NJ, CT, MA, RI, ME, NH, VT, E PA, DE, MD  

 

Base Pay Range: $121,000 - $169,000
We will be accepting applications until a final candidate is identified.
 
The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. Responsibilities:
  • Master the Q-SYS Solution Suite: Continuously build and enhance your expertise in the Q-SYS solution set, staying ahead of industry trends and product innovations to deliver exceptional results.
  • Champion the Q-SYS Value Proposition: Clearly communicate the unique benefits of Q-SYS to customers, and connect with internal teams (Consultant Liaisons, Channel Sales, and Strategic Accounts) to drive impactful solutions.
  • Drive Consistent Sales Momentum: Maintain a proactive and consistent sales approach, staying focused on delivering results while building and nurturing client relationships.
  • Unlock New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new growth avenues within existing accounts and seek out fresh business opportunities to expand your territory.
  • Develop Strong Business Insight: Gain a deep understanding of how enterprise AV-IT teams operate, and leverage company workflows to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Navigate the Full Sales Cycle: Thrive across all phases of the sales cycle, from generating leads and developing client relationships to managing accounts and ensuring long-term success.
  • Collaborate and Elevate the Team: Be a true team player who embraces company values, contributes to collective goals, and demonstrates accountability while staying open to coaching and continuous improvement.
  • Other Responsibilities:

    • Attend trade shows to engage with customers and follow up post-event.

    • Drive attendance at customer-facing events like technical training and roundtables.

    • Organize and lead impactful customer meetings.

    • Ensure data integrity in the Salesforce CRM system.

    • Participate in training to enhance knowledge and skills.

    • Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.

 

Qualifications:
    • HS Diploma
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Minimum 5 years demonstrated and relevant experience in personal selling within the AV-IT industry
    • Must be adept at both hunting for net new logos and farming exiting customers for further Q-SYS adoption.
    • Proven experience working with adjacent sales teams (consultant liaisons, strategic and channel)
    • Possess strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and sales management software (ERP/CRM etc.)
    • Consistent reporting and updates via CRM software
    • Willingness to travel 30%
