Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Malware Researcher to join our Cybersecurity team. In this role, you will analyze and reverse engineer malware threats to protect our customers from evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for uncovering and mitigating security vulnerabilities.

About the Role:

  • Malware Analysis - Analyze and reverse engineer malicious objects using static and dynamic analysis techniques.
  • Engage in projects geared towards improving detection technology
  • Enhance Trellix’s security content infrastructure and release process

About You:

  • At least 5-10 years experience in malware analysis and reverse engineering
  • Experience in exploits/vulnerability research
  • Experience in sandbox-based detection technologies
  • Experience in network traffic analysis
  • Knowledge in malware detection for static, network, and dynamic technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python is required
  • Experience with threat intelligence platforms and frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, YARA).
  • Experience in working for AV operations and SOC environments is a plus
