As a Senior Global Trade Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Collins Global Trade Program (training, policies, processes, implementation, execution & metrics); using digital technology and physical safeguards to manage transfers compliantly and efficiently; ensuring compliant transfers of physical goods and intangible items; sanctions and embargo compliance and addressing regulatory and policy violations to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze business needs with respect to Global Trade requirements and develop compliant solutions across all phase of the business lifecycle.
  • Serve as the Global Trade liaison to assigned business segment(s) and leaders.
  • Support the development and execution of business strategic initiatives.
  • Working under/within the following U.S. Regulations; Export Administration Regulation (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR and Harmonized Tarriff Scheduled (HTS).
  • Deployment of Actuation Global Trade policies and procedures.
  • Provide export and import licensing and regulatory/policy guidance support as required to meet business needs.
  • Review of transactions under Actuation Sanctions policy involving restricted party screening and Heightened Review Analysis
  • Support Regulatory Compliance Investigations.
  • Support Development and delivery of formal and informal Global Trade training and communications.
  • Review and approval of employee travel, visitor access and other export transactional requests.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:  https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
  • Strong working knowledge of the U.S. Global Trade regulations including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the nternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • 10% International and Domestic Travel required

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Basic understanding of U.S. Customs Regulations
  • Project or program management experience.
  • Aerospace technical experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal/soft skills in a dynamic, global, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with business process improvement and implementing change in a dynamic environment.
  • Have the ability to manage competing priorities, and meet multiple goals, plans and milestones.
  • Strong IT experience including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with interpreting, managing, and implementing regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization preferred.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
