Job description

We are looking for a Sales Specialist Chromatography (x|f|m) to join the Sales ATS Central EMEA team home based in Germany (Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH), Austria, France, Netherlands or Slovenia. In this position, you will act as an expert by providing product/application support and know-how for our customers, while being responsible for Sales results of a specific Chromatography portfolio of Advanced Therapy Solutions products in Central Europe and for developing strong customer relations according to the organizational strategy for the assigned customer base.

  • Promote the organization’s products and services in specific geographic areas or accounts to achieve sales and revenue targets

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the organization’s strategic goals for market growth

  • Actively promote and drive the market introduction of new innovative products and services, ensuring their successful adoption and implementation

  • Achieve specific targets for gaining product specifications within the cell/gene-therapy and DNA/RNA therapeutics manufacturing processes

  • Maintain relationships with customers throughout the clinical pipeline lifecycle, post-initial specification win, to achieve sales targets

  • Develop and execute detailed account plans, coordinating necessary resources and working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance market presence and win business

  • Participate in marketing activities within the assigned territory and keep the CRM updated with accurate customer and sales opportunity data

 What will convince us

  • You have a  Bachelor or Master degree in Life sciences, Bioprocess engineering, Biotechnology or related field

  • Chromatography knowledge and Process Development/Manufacturing Process understanding

  • Several years of experience in customer-facing roles

  • You are experienced with Salesforce

  • You are a proactive personality with excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, other European language would be beneficial

  • You feel comfortable in a dynamic, results-orientated working environment

  • Ability to listen intently to the needs of the customers and ask questions to gather information needed

  • Good teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teams

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
