UX Content Designer

We're seeking a UX Content Designer to help us create a best-in-class user experience for Simetrik customers. We believe that good writing and documentation are crucial for a great product design.

As a UX Content Designer, you will collaborate with product design teams to craft intuitive, actionable, and easy-to-understand user experiences.

You will also be responsible for documenting and maintaining the communication guidelines and nomenclature, and promoting well-written communication practices across the company.

Additionally, you'll support the localization process by reviewing English translations and, optionally, Portuguese translations to ensure high-quality and error-free content.

Responsibilities

• Shape the user experience by crafting clear, concise, and engaging in-product copy.
• Collaborate with designers to refine user flows, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Develop and maintain UX content guidelines, including voice and tone principles.
• Review and improve localized content, ensuring high-quality translations.
• Drive content strategy to ensure clarity and accessibility across all user touchpoints.
• Simplify complex concepts, making them easy to understand for all users.
• Participate in design thinking sessions, embedding user-centered content solutions in our design process.
• Contribute to Simetrik's design system, creating scalable, reusable content patterns.
• Engage in design critiques, sharing UX content insights and providing feedback on interaction and visual design.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience writing content for digital products.
• 1+ years working in conversational design.
• C1 or C2 level in English.
• Experience collaborating within a product team to build simple, easy-to-use apps or platforms.
• Experience creating and maintaining style guides and language systems.
• Comfortable actively interacting throughout the design process, giving and receiving feedback.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality work on time.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience using Figma and Figjam.
• Deep understanding of UX principles and best practices.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with financial products and services is a huge plus.
• In addition to Spanish and English, fluency in Portuguese is a significant advantage.
• Experience creating content for AI features.
• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies, principles, and methods allowing you to actively contribute to design sessions and shape user experiences collaboratively.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines, ensuring inclusive and accessible content for all users.
