We are seeking a part-time Compliance Assistant to assist with the day-to-day operations of the compliance group, focusing on organizing and managing the onboarding process for new employees, processing documentation, and organizing, compiling, and updating company personnel records.

 

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding by creating and sending offer letters, processing and maintaining electronic forms, scanning and indexing new hire documents, initiating pre-employment screenings, creating DOT driver qualification files, and ensuring communication with all stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to new employees during their initial period.
  • Work with various departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and foster productive, collaborative working relationships.
  • Support daily operations by managing I-9 forms, work authorizations, annual MVR checks, random drug screenings, workplace documentation, and compliance invoices.
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents as needed.
  • Learn and understand current corporate practices, procedures, and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to embrace corporate values, understand the company vision and exemplify company leadership behaviors. 
  • Other duties as assigned by management.  

 

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in managing onboarding processes for a company is preferred.
  • Previous experience with ADP workforce now preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications with the ability to learn new software programs quickly.
  • Must be energetic, adaptable, process-oriented, and highly motivated, taking pride in work assignments and enjoying learning as responsibilities expand.
  • Commitment to providing quality customer service and ability to collaborate as a team or work independently. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees, colleagues, customers, and others.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Extremely responsible, resourceful, and dependable.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to develop, implement, and manage programs and processes.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Shift is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST but must be able to work outside normal business hours when required.  Anticipated hours are between 24-29 per week.
