Description

Social Media Manager   
 
Varonis is seeking a Social Media Manager to engage target audiences and continue growing Varonis as a thought leader in the cybersecurity industry.
 
The social media manager will own day-to-day management of all organic social media channels, including writing, scheduling, posting, and analyzing content. As a member of the Content Marketing team, the social media manager will help create content that strategically aligns with marketing goals, generates follower growth and engagement, and showcases Varonis as an expert in data security.
 
The ideal candidate is a great storyteller, analytical, collaborative, organized, and has a strong understanding of B2B social media trends.  
 
This role is fully remote based in the US and may require some travel.  
 
Key responsibilities include:  
  • Manage daily activity for Varonis’ LinkedIn and YouTube accounts
  • Lead admin of Varonis’ employee advocacy platform
  • Execute social and community management tactics for product launches, events, new content releases, etc.
  • Execute social media strategies to support Varonis key messages, products, company goals, and more  
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to comments and direct messages  
  • Stay on top of trends, best practices, and tools in the social media and cybersecurity industries  
  • Be a steward of best practices in messaging, grammar, and writing for social media  
  • Conduct reporting on social performance, engagement, and KPIs, then optimize strategy on results  
  • Implement organic social media campaigns to drive product awareness, brand affinity, thought leadership, and community engagement  
  • Support the development and implementation of social media strategies to drive brand awareness, employee advocacy, and other marketing goals  
 
The ideal candidate will have:  
  • 3+ years in managing a B2B social media presence, preferably in technology and/or cybersecurity  
  • Exceptional writing skills and ability to translate complex topics into simple, buyer-oriented copy  
  • Experience delivering detailed social media analysis that includes meaningful and actionable insights and how social activity is helping achieve business goals  
  • Ability to think strategically and execute independently  
  • Familiarity with tools like Descript, Canva, and Asana a plus.
