Requirements

SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Developer to design, implement, and maintain custom NetSuite solutions that enhance business operations and system efficiency. This role focuses on SuiteScript development, system customization, and API integrations, ensuring optimal performance and scalability of our NetSuite ERP. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk (Web Services), with additional experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases. Familiarity with MuleSoft for integrations is a plus.

This role requires both technical proficiency and problem-solving skills to translate business needs into effective NetSuite solutions. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, troubleshoot system issues, and drive improvements to our ERP environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

NetSUite Development & Customization

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2.0 solutions, including Suitelets, User Event Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, and Client Scripts.
  • Customize NetSuite workflows, SuiteFlow automations, and saved searches to enhance business functionality.
  • Build and maintain custom NetSuite integrations to optimize operations and streamline business processes. Ensure all customizations align with NetSuite best practices and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite performance issues, script errors, and inefficiencies.

Integration & System Optimization

  • Utilize SuiteTalk (Web Services) and REST APIs to extend NetSuite’s functionality and enable external integrations.
  • Support data migration, transformation, and system upgrades to ensure business continuity.
  • Work with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases to optimize performance and data queries.

   Collaboration & Technical Leadership

  • Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into NetSuite solutions.
  • Document technical specifications, development processes, and best practices for internal teams.
  • Stay current with NetSuite updates, SuiteScript enhancements, and industry trends to continuously improve system performance.
  • Support NetSuite ERP training and user adoption by guiding internal teams on best practices.

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in NetSuite development, including SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteTalk (Web Services), and SuiteFlow.
  • NetSuite Certification:
    • SuiteFoundation (Required)
    • SuiteCloud Developer Certification - Advanced (Preferred: API/REST development focus)
    • Application Developer Certification (Preferred: SuiteScrupt-heady development)
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP architecture, business processes, and customization capabilities.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, SuiteScript, and REST/SOAP APIs for NetSuite extensions and integrations.
  • Experience working with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases to optimize performance and data queries.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex NetSuite configurations, scripts, and integrations.

Preferred (Bonus Skills):

  • Familiarity with or experience working with MuleSoft for API-led integrations.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration, ERP workflows, and cloud-based business applications.
  • Experience in front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

ADDITONAL TRAVEL NOTE

All Meteor new hires are expected to attend an in-person cultural orientation (approx. 1 week) which requires travel to our home office in Gainesville, FL. Employees may also be required to travel and attend annual company meetings and events. All business-related travel expenses will be paid for by Meteor per our company travel and expense policy.
