Job description

Seeking experienced business reporters to conduct interviews and outreach with the CEOs of companies making the list and write accompanying bios. There may be additional opportunity to write a story associated with the list. Part-time / 20 hours a week

Responsibilities:

Writing sharp, compelling bios/blurbs
Contacting listmakers for information including financial data
Fact-checking and organizing information
Collecting photos from listmakers

The Ideal Candidate:

Prior experience in business journalism.
Strong writing and reporting skills
Research experience
Attention to detail in fact-checking
Comfort contacting sources and getting financial information
Commitment to detail and deadlines with high-level time management and organizational skills

The hourly rate for this role is $35.00 - $50.00
