About the Role: 

In this role, you will help Octave to create a new standard for mental health care that's both accessible to people and sustainable for providers. You will be responsible for finding ways to acquire, activate, refer, and retain clients as they move through the Octave experience. You'll work closely with our Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to deliver the experience and technology that drive the core engine of our business. Building a great product is a highly collaborative effort, so it’s important you are a team player with strong communication skills.

What Success Looks Like

  • You synthesize and prioritize the needs of Octave clients and the internal teams that work with them.
  • You create, optimize, and iterate on acquisition, onboarding, and retention funnels where the ROI is highest.
  • You're an expert on connecting the dots between channels, campaigns, and the Octave client experience.
  • You partner with analytics and marketing to identify and understand growth opportunities and proactively prioritize them.
  • You lead a team of engineers, designers, and operations teammates to drive exponential growth.
  • You apply best practices for how to best engage customers and retain them for the long term across different market segments and locations.
  • You define success metrics, analyze performance, experiment and iterate quickly.
  • You maintain a strong bias for stepping up and taking action, yet demonstrate a willingness to learn and take guidance.
  • You leverage process and create structure to help teams be the most productive.
  • You clearly communicate your plans, learnings, and results to all stakeholders

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to frequently communicate with others through virtual meeting applications such as Zoom and Google Meet. 
  • Must be able to observe and communicate information on company provided laptop. 
  • Move up to 10 pounds on occasion. 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Octave is committed to pay equity. Starting pay for qualified applicants will depend on a combination of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is set forth below and this range may be modified in the future. 

The salary range is for zone 1 (all states not in zone 2 or zone 3) is $132,100 - $153,100.

The salary range for zone 2 (CO, HI, MD, RI) is $145,300 - $168,400.

The salary range for zone 3 (AK, CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, WA) is $152,000 - $176,000.

All zones are eligible for equity in the form of stock options, plus target bonus incentives based on performance.

Additionally, this position is eligible for the following benefits: company sponsored life insurance, disability and AD&D plans. Voluntary benefits such as 401k retirement, medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, dependent care and commuter/parking options are also available. Octave offers generous Paid Time Off as well as paid parental leave benefits.
